An extensive two-day acting and improvisation workshop with the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. The workshop leaders would be Harry Fuhrmann and Prof. Michael Keller who will conduct it with a focus on fundamentals and acting techniques based on the academy’s base training methods: partner relationship, fantasy, gesture (Brecht), situation, subtext, observation (art of observation), etc.

An insider’s look into two of the greatest theatre houses in Berlin – the Schaubühne Berlin and Deutsches Theater. There will be a workshop with these theatre houses, where you will get a closer look at one of their running productions prior to visiting the respective performance. The workshop will focus on the aesthetic aspects of the production, while analysing the various themes so that the participants gain more perspective and the show can be experienced even more intensely (the plays will be presented with English subtitles). This integrated approach aims to strengthen and deepen the understanding of the stage presence and the ability to create performances that are intellectually informed, viscerally exciting, and theatrically courageous. Before this, a behind the scene tour and a talk with the dramaturgy department will also take place.
